About Us

Who is Taylor Rudd? A Light and Inspiration to Her Community.

Taylor Rudd was a beloved daughter, sister, and friend who lived life to the fullest. Her compassion for others was unwavering; she selflessly cared for her stepmother, Brandi, during her difficult battle with cancer until it ultimately took her life. In addition, Taylor was an avid outdoor enthusiast and an accomplished softball player. Her passion for the game was only matched by her unwavering advocacy for Easter Seals and the support of those around her. She used her love of beauty to pursue a career in esthetics, and her Christian faith was strong and guided all that she did. Tragically, Taylor’s life was cut short in November 2019 due to a car accident. She will always be remembered for her loving spirit, generosity, resilience, and zest for life.

Our Mission

Assisting Those in Need

Taylor Rudd’s Saving Grace Foundation’s purpose is to assist persons with paying for the funeral expenses of youth under the age of 26. We primarily donate to families that are in need of financial assistance in defraying the cost of funeral expenses for their sons/daughters in a time of stress and grief.

Taylor’s death was truly devastating for her family and something no one could have predicted. Worse yet, deaths like Taylor’s aren’t all that uncommon; in 2020, 2,800 teens (16-19) in the U.S. were killed in motor vehicle crashes, making it the leading cause of death for teenagers in our country. Sadly, the deaths of children, teens and young adults don’t stop with car accidents. As a result, countless families across the U.S. are tragically separated from their loved ones far too soon. While there’s no filling the hole left by a precious child or relative’s passing, Taylor Rudd’s Saving Grace Foundation wishes to ease the pain and burden.

What We Do

Through events, fundraisers, and donation gatherings, Taylor Rudd’s Saving Grace Foundation raises money for families struggling with the funeral costs of recently deceased children. We’ve witnessed countless families, already contending with significant grief, attempt to navigate the planning and fees associated with proper burial, funeral services, and general “after-life” care. However, the death of a child is often unexpected, and the costs associated with death can catch any family off-guard.

The family went through these same troubles with the passing of Taylor. However, if it wasn’t for the incredible support of family, friends, and community members, who pooled together to help support the family during their time of need, their family would not be in the same place as it is today. In fact, it was this incredible support that inspired what is now Taylor Rudd’s Saving Grace Foundation.
